Maintenance and Facilities provides a safe environment for students and a safe workplace for school employees, through inspection, maintenance and repair of District buildings and grounds. While working constantly to meet the needs of our students and staff, the department must also meet local, state and federal mandates.
Maintenance and Facilities serves all school sites, the District Office, and Warehouse.
Lennox School District requires General Contractors and Subcontractors to be prequalified on all Bond Construction Contracts. Lennox School District also requires pre-qualification on all CUPCCAA Construction Contracts. To become prequalified, applications must be submitted to PQBids.com. PQBids is an easy-to-use web-based application that streamlines the new Department of Industrial Relations pre-qualification process. |

Per the DIR, as it relates to SB854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. Also, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5.
